This Is The Augmented Reality (AR) Foreseeable Future

ar augmented reality hyper-reality

AR is a technology that superimposes a computer-generated image on a user's view of the real world, thus providing a composite view, in sum, augmented reality or AR is a prospective technology which is under experimentation and we can say that is the future of the VR or Virtual Reality, and it differs from the VR that augmented reality interacts with the real world and it makes changes in the view of it, but until now there are just a few AR applications or devices and they are under test, and because everyone is curious about the AR and how our world would be with it, Keiichi Matsuda decided to make a short film about the future of the upcoming technologies and especially the augmented reality, and it is called HYPER-REALITY.

Keiichi Matsuda (BSc. MArch) is a designer and film-maker. His research examines the implications of emerging technologies for human perception and the built environment. Keiichi is interested in the dissolving boundaries between virtual and physical, working with video, architecture and interactive media to propose new perspectives on the city. He has exhibited his work internationally, from London’s V&A Museum to the Art Institute of Chicago, the New York MoMA, and Shanghai EXPO. He has been published extensively in print and online, and has won awards for design, drawing, speaking and filmmaking.

And while every other video shows us how the upcoming technologies would be great, Matsuda didn't do that in HYPER-REALITY, he shows us that the evolution of the technology has its dangers too when a hacker can steal every thing from you, even your life.
